The restaurant Huberwirt in Pleiskirchen, Upper Bavaria, is now in its 11th generation and looks back on over 400 years of family history. Chef and owner Alexander Huber is a master of classic, down-to-earth Bavarian inn cuisine as well as star cuisine. The blend of tradition, sophistication, elegance and impeccable skill that defines the house is visually translated on the website.

Challenge and solution: 
The key to success for a restaurant is regularly busy tables and, if available, sales in the online shop. On the one hand, it is important to whet the customer’s appetite for a visit with an appealing appearance and sufficient information. On the other hand, it is important to make it easy for the user to make a table reservation or purchase through simple navigation. Cleverly placed call-to-action elements and sensible cross-links within the page result in a positive surfing experience for the user.
